Canvas Health Transportation

Canvas Health Transportation is provided to clients who have an ongoing need for transportation to and from various appointments, support groups, activities, errands and meetings throughout Washington County.

Parents and personal care assistants can sometimes be reimbursed for mileage and other transportations costs.  Check with your child's case manager for details.

Care Cab

Care Cab offers specialized transportation for doctor's appointments, routine transfers, convalescent, therapy sessions, dialysis, hospitals, nursing homes, out-of-town travel and special events including fully-equipped vans for non-emergency wheelchair and stretcher transportation if required.

Community Thread

Community Thread offers door-to-door transportation services to medical appointments for Washington County residents who have no other means of transportation.

Healtheast Medical Transportation

Healtheast Medical Transporation is a Twin City leader in emergency and scheduled transportation.

Metro Mobility

Metro Mobility is a shared public transportation service for cerified riders who are unable to use regular fixed-route buses due to a disability or health condition.  Rides are provided for any purpose.

Minnesota Non-Emergency Transportation

MNet is a service that schedules non-emergency medical appointment transportation for Medical Assistance (MA) recipients.  MA covers the cost or will reimburse you or your driver for mileage.


Newtrax is a nonprofit that provides daily transportation for over 500 adults with disabilities in the Northeast Metro area.

Premier Handicap Services

Premier Handicap Services is a locally owned non-emergency transportation company serving the entire Twin City metro area and beyond.

Transit Link

Service area includes all communities in Washington County and several communities in eastern Ramsey County.  Riders can also travel throughout the metro area (free transfer required).

Disability Parking

Disability parking spaces are needed to give people with mobility limitation the same opportunity to use public or private facilities as people who do not have disabilities. Disability parking spaces also provide extra space for people in wheelchairs when getting in and out of a vehicle.
